University of London

The University of London is a federation of 18 self-governing Colleges and 9 specialist research Institutes. Each College operates as a university in its own right, setting its own entry requirements, offering its own courses and services, and, in some cases, awarding its own degrees. All students enrolled at the Colleges and Institutes are also members of the wider University of London community — a network of more than 170,000 students — giving them access to a range of shared facilities and services across the capital.
